In every instance Zoffany has paid the greatest attention both to the design and the making of each piece of furniture. The frames are hand crafted using selected seasoned hardwoods and all joints are dowled, glued and screwed. Internal bracing is added to each corner for further strength and stability.Coil springs are used for the seat base for maximum comfort. In addition, some models incorporate coil sprung arms, enhancing the quality and feel of the piece as well as its look. All covering fabrics are individually hand cut and pattern matched or paired, then sewn and carefully upholstered. Each stage is carried out by expert craftspeople with an uncompromising attitude to quality resulting in a beautiful and comfortably sofa or chair.
