Here’s a detailed breakdown of the process:

1. Initial Consultation – Getting to Know You & Your Space

Our process begins with a 30–60 minute virtual consultation via video call. This is our opportunity to understand the scope of the room, your functional needs, lifestyle, personal style, and vision for the space. We’ll also ask about your budget and any specific items or features you want to include or retain.

You’re welcome (and encouraged) to send over inspiration images, Pinterest boards, or links to styles you love in advance. The more you share, the more tailored your design will be.

2. Design Brief & Moodboard – Setting the Visual Direction

After our consultation, we’ll develop a design brief summarising your key requirements and preferences. This will be accompanied by a custom inspiration board that visually outlines the overall look and feel of your new space—colours, textures, materials, and style influences. This stage helps us align on a shared vision before we move into the finer details.

3. Layout & Spatial Planning – Making the Most of Your Space

Next, we’ll create a proposed floor plan that shows the ideal layout of your space, taking into account flow, proportions, and furniture placement. If bespoke joinery or cabinetry is required, we’ll include technical drawings to highlight how these elements can be integrated.

To ensure accuracy, we’ll ask you to provide measurements of your room, including wall lengths, ceiling height, window/door positions, and any architectural features. We’ll guide you through how to measure correctly and can work from existing plans if available.

4. Furniture & Finishes Specification – Curated Selections, Just for You

This stage includes a fully itemised specification list of furniture, lighting, soft furnishings, accessories, finishes, and paint colours—all tailored to your space and style. Each item will include supplier links, dimensions, and pricing to suit your budget.

Where appropriate, we’ll also include fabric and wallpaper suggestions, flooring recommendations, and small styling touches that will help elevate your space to a professionally finished level.

5. Final Presentation & Ongoing Support – Your Design, Ready to Implement

Once all elements are finalised, we’ll present your completed design concept via a follow-up video call. You’ll receive a full design pack including:

Final moodboard

Scaled floor plan with furniture layout

Furniture and finishes specification list with links

Samples of all specified finishes (where applicable)

Styling notes and tips for installation
