INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECTS

STUDIO OPEN DAY
FAQs
This is a necessary first step to any project as it enables us to get a deeper understanding of the project scope, you, the client, your vision as well as your timescales and budget.
From the information given at this meeting, we can suggest which of our services would suit the project. We then produce a detailed report outlining all the key information discussed along with an inspirational board showing the style we feel is best suited to your vision along with a breakdown of our design fees. It is essential that all the information provided is accurate to enable our design team to interpret your vision perfectly and efficiently.
Our design fees are completely tailored to each project. The fee is based upon the scope of works and includes the following:
Stage 1
Concept Idea Boards showing the proposed style and mood of the space.
Spatial Planning – Detailed Scaled Floor Plans and Elevations
Detailed Plans; Electrical, Plumbing, Decorating
Detailed Bespoke Joinery Plans and Elevations
FF & E (Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment) Specification
Colour Schemes and Finish Selection
Stage 2
Design Schedule
Soft Furnishings Specification
Accessories Selection
Sampling
FF & E Procurement, co-ordination of deliveries and returns where necessary.
*Only 2 minor changes permitted within this fee. Things like altering the spatial layout, colour schemes, style etc are classed as a major change and would be subject to additional charges which would be based upon an hourly rate.
For our private residential clients, we are currently only taking on projects with 3+ rooms. If you have a multiroom project and to minimise disruption, you want to phase them then this is fine with us also. It is our belief that your home should have cohesion and each space should flow together for continuity therefore, to achieve this, we would look at all the rooms collectively.
Based in the Ribble Valley, most of our projects are throughout Lancashire and the Lake District. That doesn’t mean we won’t travel! We have also undertaken projects in Wales and even the South of France so please do contact us with your project details and if we can accommodate you, we would be delighted to.
Did you know that the Trough of Bowland is the centre of the United Kingdom? This makes us in a prime position for taking on projects in any direction!!!
At this point we are unable to offer the traditional project management service as that would require us to be on site every day which is not overly economical in time and budget. However, we know that these projects can be time critical and stressful, so we do offer project co-ordination whereby we would liaise closely with all tradespeople and other third parties, schedule the works and manage the deliveries of any products we have sourced. We will oversee the project to ensure a smooth transition from start to finish.
Over the years we have built up relationships with trusted suppliers and skilled contractors and work with them on a lot of our projects. They are more than happy to provide you with a detailed quotation for the required works and this can either be through us or direct with yourself. However, if you have contractors you have worked with historically and would prefer to use them on your project then we would be delighted to make new friends and work with them to transform your home or business.
