PROCUREMENT AND PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

Clitheroe Town Centre, Ribble Valley

Hours:  Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Holidays: 25 Days per Annum plus Bank Holidays
Salary:  Dependent on Experience

ABOUT THE ROLE


We are seeking an experienced, organised and proactive Procurement & Project Co-ordinator to join our growing Interior Design Studio based in our newly purpose-designed studio in Clitheroe Town Centre.

This is a key role within the business, supporting the design team in the successful planning, procurement and delivery of multiple interior design projects. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing numerous tasks, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously whilst maintaining excellent levels of service.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Project Coordination & Administration
• Support the design team in the delivery of residential and commercial interior design projects.
• Prepare, maintain and manage project schedules, timelines and trackers.
• Coordinate project activities to ensure deadlines and milestones are achieved.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Organise meetings, appointments and project-related communications.

· Build and commission new and effective structures to efficiently manage all moving parts of a project.


Procurement & Order Management
• Place orders with suppliers in accordance with project specifications and budgets.
• Manage procurement schedules and delivery programmes.
• Track orders from placement through to delivery and installation.
• Resolve supplier queries, shortages, damages and delivery issues.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases and project management software.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, lead times and product information.

Client, Supplier & Contractor Liaison
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Manage communications between all project stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources and expectations throughout project delivery.
• Provide regular project updates and maintain excellent client service standards.


Marketing & Studio Support
• Assist with the coordination of marketing activities.
• Support the organisation of project photography and photoshoots.
• Assist with social media content planning and coordination.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


• Previous experience in a procurement, project coordination, project administration or similar role.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

· Ability to problem solve and push projects forwards

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Software. Training in our Project Management Software will be given.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

DESIRABLE


• Experience within interior design, construction, property or related sectors.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop.
• Experience using Canva.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and content coordination.

Please note: This is a procurement, administration and project coordination role. While the successful candidate will work closely with our interior design team, the position itself is not a design role. We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in developing a career within project coordination, procurement and administration, and who enjoys the organisational and operational aspects of delivering successful projects.
